Please follow the following procedure for getting signed up to do FNMA’s Desktop Originator™ with AFR as the sponsor. 

Please note; AFR does not require you to run an Automated Underwriting Engine (AUS) to submit or close a loan with AFR. If we need to run the AUS, our underwriting staff will complete it.

Once completed, we will receive an e-mail stating that you have placed the request. You must be an approved AFR client in good standing in order for us to accept the request.

Please note the following:

• AFR has a pull thru requirement. You must keep a 90% submission ratio at all times. In other words, 90% of all loans run with DO must be at least submitted to your AFR account executive for pre-qualification and/or underwriting.
• AFR reserves the right to cancel the sponsorship of a company or a branch of a company at any time for any reason.

If you need to have a DO case file released, please send a request to casenumber@afrmortgage.com. Please make sure to include the case ID, borrower’s last name and the reason for the withdrawal.
