Lock Your Loan 

• Loans can be locked once an approval is issued by an AFR underwriter.
• Please fill out the lock request form completely before sending it to lockdesk@afrwholesale.com.
• Rates are posted daily at approximately 10:00 am EST.
• Lock request have to be in by 5:00 pm EST to be processed that day.
• Be sure to look at the approval sheet to make sure you price and lock using the correct program.

Extend Your Lock 

• Extension requests must be submitted to the Lock Desk by the Broker or Principal Agent.
• To extend a lock, please submit an e-mail to lockdesk@afrwholesale.com containing the borrower’s First Name, Last Name, and the loan Property Address.
• Lock Extensions are for 15 days at a cost of 0.25%.

In order to ensure a smooth closing process, we request that all lock and extension requests are submitted at least 24 hours prior to closing.
