When it comes to loan officers and realtors working together, sometimes things may get a bit tricky. So, to help build stronger working relationships, we have put together some of our top tips to help things go smoothly during the process.
Work Together, Not Against Each Other: At first it may be a little awkward to work with someone else, but remember as loan officers and realtors we are all on the same team. Both of you are striving towards the same end goal, so be open and try to build a strong relationship to help things go a bit easier.
Have Open Communication: When you first start working with a new loan officer or realtor, set up a form of communication that works best for the two of you. Both of you may not always be in the office to answer the phone directly, so discuss emails or even text messages if that works best for you. This will alleviate any frustration that may come up if your schedules don’t line up exactly.
Utilize Social Media: If you are just starting out or you have been in the game for a while, social media can be a great tool to build strong relationships within the industry. Engage with realtors and other loan officers by commenting and sharing tips with each other. This will help get your name out there and also meet other great professionals that you could potentially work with.
